Bob brings a unique blend of experience to the Sports M&A Advisory Group, having built a career in both the financial planning and sports marketing industries.As a Financial Advisor with two of the world’s largest firms, Bob developed solid knowledge of the global financial marketplace and its dynamics; as well as a strong understanding of how various business models operate in a changing economy.
With eight years of financial experience and a lifelong passion for sports driving him, Bob set out to establish a second career in sports marketing, and joined industry leader Steiner Sports, which had recently launched a partnership with the New York Yankees. In this role, Bob gained an exceptional understanding of team operations, corporate sponsorships and creating revenue through non traditional means. He ultimately went on to become Director of Sales for Steiner’s partnerships with the New York Mets and New York Islanders, where he worked closely with team executives to develop marketing strategies, oversee expenses, and drive revenue through a variety of channels.
With the Sports Advisory Group, Bob’s focus is on ice hockey in the U.S. and Canada, as well as minor league baseball in the Northeast. He is also active in professional soccer and lacrosse.
